UPDATE (July 1, 2020): Because confirmed COVID-19 cases have continued to increase in Person County, the indoor part of the Yard Sale will remain closed to the public until further notice. We will continue to monitor developments and follow public health guidance in deciding when we can safely open. Please do your part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a face covering and maintaining six feet of distance from others when in public. Although the building is not open to the general public for sales, we are offering some new ways to serve customers and donors in the interim.
Everything is 50% off at least for the month of July.
We have started having outdoor sale days - like a traditional yard sale - in the parking lot area next to our building (110 Carver Drive, Roxboro, NC 27573). These sale days are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday mornings from 9am - 12pm (noon). If the weather does not allow us to open for an outdoor sale on Wednesday, the sale may be moved to Friday for that week. We are also scheduling appointments for individuals to come and shop inside our building. The best way to schedule a shopping appointment or get the most up-to-date information is to call us at 336-597-2206. Unfortunately, our Facebook Page has been shut down due to an error made by Facebook, and we will not be able to communicate using our Page until it is resolved.
We know a lot of people have items they generously want to donate to Habitat. As of Saturday, June 6, we began accepting donations on Saturday mornings from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Two storage containers are located in the parking lot for incoming donations. Once those are full, we will not be able to accept more until the following Saturday. Given our limited space to isolate incoming donations, please delay bringing large furniture if possible.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate this challenging time. Thank you for supporting Person County Habitat for Humanity. We look forward to seeing you again.

Yard Sale Floor
Great Furniture, Great Variety
We sell household items, furniture, appliances, electronics, toys, books, building materials, and more. You may find just what you're looking for or be surprised to find something you didn't even know you were looking for, but you can always find something to take home from our Yard Sale. Admission is just one dollar, and proceeds go to support our mission to provide decent, affordable housing for the residents of Person County.
If you would like to donate items for us to put on the floor at the Yard Sale, please come by when the Yard Sale is open or call 336-597-2206 to schedule another time to drop off donations. Please do not drop off donations when there is no one to receive them. If you have large items, like furniture, that you want to donate but are unable to transport, call 336-597-2206 to schedule a donation pickup by our volunteers or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with contact information, address, and the type and condition of the items. Your donations are what creates the revenue that makes the work of Person County Habitat for Humanity possible. Person County Habitat for Humanity is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and so your donation is tax-deductible. Just ask us for a donation receipt form or print it out here and bring it when you bring your donation.
Yard Sale Volunteers
The Yard Sale is our biggest fundraiser and a great place to meet your neighbors in Person County. The Yard Sale is managed and run completely by volunteers, and we can always use more volunteer help to provide this great service to the community and support the charitable work of Person County Habitat for Humanity. Yard Sale Volunteers receive, price, and stock donated items; do donation pickups; help customers; do admissions; run the sales desk; and various other tasks. If you are interested in volunteering at the Yard Sale, please contact the Yard Sale Management at 336-597-2206 or email@example.com. The Yard Sale and its volunteers are led by Volunteer Yard Sale Manager Vicki O'Duffy. For more information about registering as a volunteer, go to the Register page.
