We sell household items, furniture, appliances, electronics, toys, books, building materials, and more. You may find just what you're looking for or be surprised to find something you didn't even know you were looking for, but you can always find something to take home from our Yard Sale. Admission is just one dollar, and proceeds go to support our mission to provide decent, affordable housing for the residents of Person County.
Donate
If you would like to donate items for us to put on the floor at the Yard Sale, please come by when the Yard Sale is open or call 336-597-2206 to schedule another time to drop off donations. Please do not drop off donations when there is no one to receive them. If you have large items, like furniture, that you want to donate but are unable to transport, call 336-597-2206 to schedule a donation pickup by our volunteers or send an email to yardsale@personcountyhabitat.org with contact information, address, and the type and condition of the items. Your donations are what creates the revenue that makes the work of Person County Habitat for Humanity possible. Person County Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and so your donation is tax-deductible. Just ask us for a donation receipt form or print it out here and bring it when you bring your donation.
Volunteer

The Yard Sale is our biggest fundraiser and a great place to meet your neighbors in Person County. The Yard Sale is managed and run completely by volunteers, and we can always use more volunteer help to provide this great service to the community and support the charitable work of Person County Habitat for Humanity. Yard Sale Volunteers receive, price, and stock donated items; do donation pickups; help customers; do admissions; run the sales desk; and various other tasks. If you are interested in volunteering at the Yard Sale, please contact the Yard Sale Management at 336-597-2206 or yardsale@personcountyhabitat.org.
